Where does Scottish Football go now?
If you’re looking for one of those 'sport is magical and will bounce back even stronger from this pandemic' articles, you may wish to stop reading now. Perhaps it's easier for supporters of clubs from Europe’s big leagues to get all misty-eyed and romantic about their football club at the minute, with most knowing it … Continue reading Where does Scottish Football go now?
Big Money Sale Of Young Star Is Sign Of Motherwell’s Bright Future
While the departure of another young talent was tough to take James Scott’s £1.5m move from Motherwell to Hull City should be seen as yet another great success story for the club’s youth academy. When the news broke on Friday evening that Scott would be making the move to KCOM Stadium there was a mixed reaction from the ‘Well support. For some, the overriding feeling was one of disappointment as a player that had burst on to the scene at the age of 17 and was in the midst of his first full campaign as a first-team regular had been lured away relatively early into his journey as a professional footballer. Others felt it was a victory for the club, as they continue to thrive under a fan-ownership model, and a demonstration that those in charge at Fir Park will no longer jump at the first attractive offer when it comes to transfer dealings. There certainly is merit to both arguments.

Yeah, we're going up.

Ross Wilson Could Change The Game For Rangers
“It has given me time to find out more about him, how he works and have some really detailed conversations so we can't wait to start the relationship. It is only around the corner so that is fantastic news for the club." Steven Gerrard was positive and enthusiastic when was asked about the appointment of Ross Wilson, former Southampton Director of Football Operations, as Rangers' Sporting Director. Wilson replaces Mark Allen as the man that Gerrard will have to trust and rely upon to deliver the club's recruitment strategy. That strategy, and its execution, has maybe not quite been up to the standard of a forward thinking club in recent years.
